Dr. Arielle Leader, ND is trained in facial acupuncture through the Michelle Ellis Facial Acupuncture Program, ensuring expert, evidence-informed care. Treatment Process
Phase 1: Meet & Greet (15 minutes – Virtual, Free)
A brief session to answer any questions you have about the treatment, process, and what to expect.
Phase 2: Virtual Pre-Treatment Session (45 minutes)
Meet virtually with Dr. Arielle Leader to review your full health history, discuss your skin concerns, and set clear treatment goals. This ensures your facial acupuncture sessions are safe, targeted, and tailored to your whole-body wellness.
Phase 3: In-Person Initial Visit (90 minutes)
Includes a full facial and physical assessment, progress photos, body acupuncture to clear energy pathways, plus facial cupping and gua sha to promote circulation and detoxification.
Ongoing Treatments (75–90 minutes each)
Each session includes a check-in, insertion of fine needles on face and body, a restful retention period (20–30 minutes), followed by gua sha and facial cupping. Naturopathic recommendations for botanicals, nutrition, and lifestyle support may also be provided.
Recommended Protocol
Typically, treatments are scheduled once per week for 12 weeks, followed by twice per month, and then maintenance sessions every 4–8 weeks based on your goals and skin response.
